This fight has been going on way befor oil or america. Jews and Christians were around first about 1500 years ago people though jesus was coming back and misread the bible. @GrowTheTruth 1. What the American military does best is protect us from threats such as radical Islamists so we can live in freedom.

2. Plenty of examples of radical Muslims' hatred of us have nothing to do with the government or military. I mean, even just people who draw pictures of Mohammad are deluged with death threats from jihadists. They hate our culture as a whole, viewing us as being massively immoral and degenerate, in need of either forced conversion to Islam or total annihilation.
