  • I've shoot these Remingtons alot and i prefer the Colt Peacemaker i have. (check out the video). I find that the Remi gets fouled up pretty quickly and stops the cylinders rotating. Plus a while back i had a chamber fire. (meaning 3 chambers fired at once!) After that happened i never trusted them again.

  • i wanted to get amuzzleloading peacemaker model but then i found out that you can only use it in free competitions i think , but yeah it was good for thr price

  • what do you mean "free" competitions?

  • like ........,for example the kuchenreuter comp is for single shot percussion pistol,

the mariette comp is for revolver, cominazzo is for flint pistol, for all thess competitions all gun have to be in the spirit of the original and because the colt peacemaker was a cartridge firing pistol ,it doesn't fit in with the rules and regulations, that is why they made what is called a free comp so that you can shoot pistol like the muzzle loading colt peacemaker ,it's a shame coz i realy liked the colt

  • @gentlemensgunclub why not??... its been done before!

  • @jeffreyprevost thats not a concealed pistol... LOL... at that size? LOL

  • I was 14 when i got this gun, but if you are very safe, its okay.

  • u look under 16 imabout a teenager and i look older than u second u cant conceal that

  • You should use the pre-smokeless powder for effects.

  • Speaking about history, these were expensive guns and as you said higher ranks would of brought these as a sign of power and wealth but most stuck to the colt

  • Very nice mate, i gather you have your FAC? im getting into cap n ball too soon just need to sort out my FAC etc.

  • Pretty good explanation man, keep makin cool vids :D

  • @jeffreyprevost well i'm 18 ,now that video was done about two years ago but i only uploaded it last year that why i seem young , and we're not allowed conceled firearms over here unfortunatly

  • The Confederate Soldiers used a brass frame version of the Remington because brass was cheaper than the steel. They also didn't have as many because they cost to much for them to produce.
