  • O_O well....they are definetly umm.....whats the word.......HORRIBLE eccept for well the fathers are horrible but some of the sons were great but the dads suck

  • Yeah, some of the children turned out to be great people, though what happened in their childhood truly effected them even as adults.

Even though I present the video in a supposedly light-hearted way for satirical purposes, I hope that people understand it's in condemnation of such abuses. The fathers in this video were definite jerks.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • Oh dear... all these choices are so... umm, well.

[looks around for exit, finds it and quickly escapes]

  • Yeah, there really are no winners in that bunch of dads, is there?

    Thank for commenting, Curt!

  • I totally understand what you mean about laughing at the video. It is satire, and I knew it was a tricky subject, especially for "The Happy Show." I wanted to point out what jerks these so-called fathers were in a pointed way that would hopefully make some impact on people, but I also hope people know that the point is not to make light of what happened. Thanks for the comment!

  • I think that the creative genius of some of the individuals represented in the video (John Lennon, Brian Wilson, and Michael Jackson) would have still been there in spite of the abuse, but the situation those men were in as children certainly affected how they used their creative genius.

  • Hm.

I certainly get that this is satire.

Nicely edited, too. But, I just can't seem to get far enough past the tragedy, to laugh at it.

I also wonder if the creative genius of the abused offspring comes because of the abuse...or, in spite of it.

  • I agree. Thanks, Kate!

  • there all horrible

  • Ed, you're being too nice! Of course, I hope that people know that I am making fun of those rotten "fathers" and not the things they did.

    Thanks for the comment!
