Surprise ! I am still up...and just about ready to crash. The woman with the longest running #1 Pop Hit of the 1970's was on top this week in 1980. A man who hasn't been in the Top 50 since 1976 debuts this week in the Top 50 with his latest. Another man in this weeks Top Ten has 8 Albums in the Top 75 on the Album chart and one of those 8 is the fastest rising album of the week ! Wow !
6 Songs enter the Top 50
Falling Out
Key Largo - Bertie Higgins
New Cut Road - Bobby Bare
You're Not Easy To Forget - Dottie West
Through The Years - Kenny Rogers
Big City - Merle Haggard
Holed Up In Some Honky Tonk - Joe Sun
Last Week: Alabama climbed to #3 with "Mountain Music". Surviving at #2 again was "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr. And tearing up at #1 "Crying My Heart Out Over You" by Ricky Skaggs. Will that country boy make it to #1, or will Alabama reach the #1 peak with "Mountain Music" ?
