How to RESTORE iPhone / iPod Touch. FIX FREEZING AND ERRORS!

i'm afraid if i restore it, i'll lose all my contacts!!!

i do exactly that, my ipod is not jailbroken(tho i was i hav the means 2 do so on here) and it just says tht i has 2 download some "ipod software" but it says that for hours and i do not hav any idea on what to do

hi i wanna ask , why after i jailbreak my iphone 3gs , i cant off my phone. cause if i do that. it will ask mi to connect to itunes and restore to the original one? meaning i cant run out of batt or turn off my phone. coz it will ask mi to restore to thr original non-jailbreak phone. pls help.

Good work, but my iPod is not frozen or anything when I do my apps, but when I try to go on the internet it wont let me click on that or do anything of that sort... I can get to my facebook app so I know I have internet, idk can you try to help???

@mehra777 leave it be u have to re-update it its going to delete its update software when i goes into recovery mode

@Racd345 u need to re-update it do what it says and you'll be fine i had to do the same thing and it worked fine afterwards goahead and update it ok?
