Makita polishing with Meg's #95 and LC PFW

I use the very same polisher but totaly stick with 3m perfect it compound. Perfect results and satisfied customers.

very good result from where the camera was but i have a PC machine and am getting the PFW pad for the DA polisher and hoping i can get good results as comparable to ppl ive seen use the makita ... since i couldnt yet afford it .

Isn't the cotton pad for REMOVING the wax???

That is a LC purple foamed-wool pad used for compounding. Wool has more cutting power and is typically used for areas needing more correction then a standard foam polishing pad.

but the wool pad will show even more holograms then a foam pad with a rotary, you will see the circle scratches from the machine later, and in dark color even more. I would use the 3401 Flex

That's correct for the most part but this is a 2-3 step polishing process, leaving the last 2 steps to refine the finish and take care of the holograms and swirl marks the wool pads leaves in the paint. 3401 is a great machine but for major correction for me nothing beats a rotary with something like the foamed wool pad used here.

No, its a compound.

Yea it's a very aggressive polish, not a wax at all.
