Ableton Live - Akai LPD8 - Electronic Song

Not sure how many of you are alive out there (subscribers that is), but I got a fun christmas gift and have been playing in it recently.

The gift was the Akai LPD8 Midi Controller and Ableton Live 8. Along with my Midi Keyboard I have been able to have a lot of late nights messing around.

I prided myself in doing all the parts to this song. There is a bass line, Wurlitzer sounding keyboard part and some spacy strings with some audio effects courtesy of Ableton Live and finally a simple drum beat that I hammered out and then added the effect called "Fill in the Gaps" which gave the beat a lot of meat (that rhymed).

Thanks everyone for the kind words over the past couple of months. My first LPD8 broke so I was without one for about 2 months before I was able to by another one. =) If you want a high quality version of this song, I can get one uploaded and I'll post the link asap. otherwise, you can also simply use a youtube to mp3 converter website.
