Pull-up Modifications:
Change the Grip - wide, narrow, alternated, one arm
Change the Grip Again - towels, thick ropes, two fingers, three fingers, gloves, Rolling Thunder
Overloaded - dip belt, med ball, sandbag, dumbbell, kettlebell, chains
Change the Movement - side-to-side, slow negatives, isometric holds, explosive

@JamessMMA he may be a wrestler but many powerlifters and bodybuilders will wear wrestling shoes. They are one of the best lifting shoes you can use b/c of the flat soul.

Ok, I think I got it now. I'm just wondering how many of an exercise one should be able to do before being able to progress to the next one.

It depends brother, typically if you can breeze through the lower movements for 3-4 sets, you should easily be able to progress. But that doesn't mean you can try the next level. Just keep moving up and trying to them out.
