  • This would be the arrival of Longstreet's two divisions before they marched north to meet up with Bragg I take it. He had Hood and McLaw's divisions. Pickett's was still too decimated from Gettysburg. His division was replaced at Chickamaugua by that of Bushrod Johnson, who broke thru Rosecrans line on the 2nd day and might have won the day except for Thomas's stand on Snodgrass Hill.
