We have 6 months worth of beta testing and I hope they are productive. Some nice improvements. Some missing features.. Some RAPE Force feedback.. Sounds are exceptional. This is before I tweaked the PLR and Controller.ini and shit so yeah..

Oh and you can now set 20° V-Fov in-game without editing cam files.. Just can't edit that horizon line yet.. I will need to get on their asses about that. Here is the FOV tutorial I made for rFactor1.. Now I can reduce it down to just measuring and setting in the dislpay settings. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/93-Setting-up-your-rFactor-FOV-Tutorial My Vertical FOV calculates to 20.5°. My 12" high monitor is 34" away from my eyes.

  • was the track laser scanned?? NOPE.

  • @fugudacat LoL.. ISI will have to invent time travel first if they intend to laser scan a track from the 60's..

  • Your eye will trick the brain don't worry, I'm sure you will drive MUCH better with normal FOV.

  • @mr13377 Can't I have sat and had a long conversation with my brain explaining that this is better. Now I can't drive at all in higher FOV.. Well like 30 vert.. but mod default = Crash.

  • I have to agree. zeos your point is true but in real life you dont >only< see that piece of square witch represents the monitor... you look forward but see way more than that piece of square.

    this fov is great but at specific examples. As always everyone plays whatever how they like but in real race you'll be behind in reaction times against others. 

  • do you have 3 monitors? if you dont then i can tell you that you see more in real life
