  • Just watching YouTube here in Ottawa when I stumbled on you. I have never been to NY or heard of this guy but I have now! He really didnt seem "artsy" just a neat nice man. Very cool you didnt take too much of his time but he looked like he wanted to chat more. Very polite guy to listen and answer you. I love meeting well known people in normal ways. It makes it so very special. You know? :)

  • oh, by the way, architects work in 2 dimensions as well, it's called a blueprint.

  • the "architecture" works are a bit grandiose and overrated. He, apparently, ran out of his traditional, modern work and ventured into postmodern work. I like how you scared off that seemingly pretentious "omnipotent" person. This schematic of yours maybe your best attribute. Too bad you didnt scare off frank. Oddly, you had little to say to him beyond your premeditated question

  • great video !!! too much panting tho !! ha ha h greetings from mexico man !

  • @andrewweis I talked to Frank at the opening about the florescent piece, which must be over forty years old by now, and we were both surprised at how fresh it looked and well it's held up.

  • nice vid man.

  • Hey James, thanks for this video, awsome.. I am writing an essay of Frank Ghery and Richard Serra, and Stella influences involve them both... I cant really make out Stella's answer to the reporters question of "the dialogue between art and architecture" after Stella says "its not my idea" thats as far as I understand... help???

  • I read about this exhibit on the JuliB site, but was unfortuneately was out of town at the time and didn't get a chance to see. Looks ike it was a great exhibit!

  • Hi, that´s a fantastic video, great interview with good questions. I was very happy to hear the Portuguese speaking in the background. It´s Brazilian Portuguese, my native language. I´m Brazilian and missed really to be there with my fellow countrymen, witnessing this great moment.

  • virtuoso art.
