Tips: Glow Paint help?

Hey all. Having a tough time applying glow paint. Thinning for the airbrush weakens the glow to the point of uselessness. Brushing it on makes streaks everywhere. Guess any glow effect should have just been done in Post Production. Any hints for a good, even application of glow paint?

Did you previously clearcoat that model?

There are flow improvers you can mix into the paint to thin it and keep the pigment tight enough to glow...

That should help with the brush strokes

I've painted the classic stars on the ceiling(SP?) I've never had to spell that before:)

The ship had a gloss coat for the decals to go on, then several matte coats to seal it up.

In your entire live, you've never spelt ceiling before?!? No worries, you got it right. :D

Red, huh? CFL's are very green... The dirs suggest natural sunlight for best results, but lamps should work. They are probably thinking of incandescents which are very orange. I'll keep it in mind.

There are three airbrushed coats and several brushed coats on the body at this point. I will next try pouring the paint on and let it settle. We'll see.

may need the right type of light on it, not household. try red spectrum.
