FYI: You can make your own carbon out of simple cane sugar and sulfuric acid. Be careful when you mix the two because it will bubble and expand. But once it's hard just break it up stick it in a 5 gallon bucket with a dustshroom and a 450 CFM can fan. Attach your exhaust ducting and you're set.

@rooflee Yes. Better off just buying correct sized filter that attaches to fan, pulling air through it not pushing it. The best homemade one I've seen. 1.Universal sheet filter for a Honeywell air purifier. 2.Aluminum screen. 3&4.Correct sized duct end-cap and duct piece, same size as fan being used. 5.Duct tape. Roll screen to fit duct piece and end, tape as you roll, then wrap carbon sheet around screen use velcro to hold. Screen is 2" more than filter on each end to fit into duct pieces. $30
That is not a home made carbon filter, that is a homemade carbon block! You'd need a 500cfm centrifugal to just pull 50cfm thru that fucker lol. Do a little research on what a carbon filter is before building this guys.... you've been warned!
