Unfinished of course. Yeah, those guys without the spears are supposed to be completely harmless. But, that is to Wario in Wario Land. He is a lot stronger than Mario so maybe they can harm him.

I can't hack, but I've got a cool tip. Sprites are available at Game Sprites Archive. You could make a game called Super Mario World 3: Retro Reminders

1-1: Simple Grassland Stage; including a great maze which has vines growing out of random areas.

1-2: Another Grass Stage, but this time there are good old flying fish and stuff coming up from the water below.

1-3: A Water Stage, which shows flying fish and some giant cheepers come in.

1-4: Back to the old style, castle with many thwomps.

you have to give them the ability to be jumped on and carry. I remember able to carry them, though it would be easy, just adding that feature from the goombas.
