@damycityrocker Strummer always had potential. Even to his dying day he was making amazing music.

@PaleCurtain thats how i get all my crap, i dig the way "career opp" sounds on the video version of live @ shea, but the new mix they did for the cd just sounds like a different performance...not bad ever...just the mixes sometimes...

@PaleCurtain rip a copy of this from vidtomp3.com

@DelStrainComedy Seems to me you could put Elvis Costello in The Clash to get almost the right voice for Strummer. Obviously it will never be the same but I think it could work

I've been listening to these tracks and for the most part I like 'em. There's too much of that male soccer fan sing-along type stuff and I'm guessing this overkill was Rhodes messing with the mix? Joe Strummer was heart and soul of The Clash. Mick was acting like a dork when they fired him. I'm sure at some point they would have been back by now had Joe not passed so young. Mick seems to have his act together these days.

Saw both line ups obviously Mick-Joe-Paul-Topper for me the one but in 86 Apollo in Glasgow rocked and it was better with Paul -Joe plus 2 than no Clash atol. TBH After Shams gig last mointh and Hillsborough stuff Mick did im hoping theyll tour again without Joe not same but needed and better than NO CLASH ATOL. Stay Free Clash City Rockers.
