again and again the police, the law enforcers act completely out of order and are allowed to rise above the law. non violent direct action is a way of communicating public feeling and police continue to intimidate, assault and disencourage peaceful protest.
When are the people in this world going to relieze that the police are a corrupt group not unlike organized crime or a common street gang. 99 percent of the people on this planet have no problem policeing themselves as for the 1 % of the criminals, well law abiding citizens know what to do with them.
Again, disperse an unruly crowd? Really, do you think that in the absence of the police and the disproportionate numbers to the protestors the crowd would continue to be unruly? These protestors are not advocating violence, they are expressing thier right to free speech, the police should be ensuring this expression. True few decided to break the law, but under UK law this must be met with a proportional and justified use of force, do you see any need here to be so violent?
The police are public civic servants and paid to be responsible, and protect the public, why should one feel the need to defend the police in this instances. Can you really say that in this video the police are protecting the public? Surely they are acting more in the interest of private corporations (Npower), which is against the law for the police to do. Think before your defence of such actions, they are not a private militia nor a security company.
There is a reason the Police are here. Did you notice the girl laying in the street or roadway? Why does this crowd not get the idea of what they are doing and then turn against the Police? They all need to be given a citation of interference. I defend the Police.
