  • The children are the kingdom of God. God bless them.

  • ...What is even sadder is that Ethiopia’s children are being born into an increasingly more unequal society than ever before.

Our self seeking ethnic politicians and the opportunist elite around them are busy making bucks for themselves rather than addressing the issue of harrowing poverty through compassionate, enlightened and bold social and economic policies.

  • ...This means that they are easy victims of largely preventable infectious disease such as Malaria and treatable HIV/AIDS.Their mortality and morbidity rates, as a result, are one of the highest in the world.

The heart rending vide we watch here is part of that extremely sad picture...

  • The great Dr Samuel Johnson, who himself experienced the raw wounds of early poverty, once said, '...there is scarcely, among the evils of human life, any so generally dreaded as poverty and that the miseries of the poor are such as cannot easily be borne...'.

One may add that the worst form of poverty is that endured by children.

Ethiopia’s children groan and die under the heavy brunt of horrendous poverty which they can not at all bear. They are the poorest of the poor...

  • @AddisEmebett

I agree with you. We all pray & hope to help the most helpless victims of our kind.

For God sake, we owe it to them.

  • why white dolls? get rid of all the white dolls, because that is one way of ruining their brain as well as their body. can't watch this for more than 3 minutes.tooooooooo painful, sorry.

  • I hope someday God will give me the strength and ability to help these children. This is awful :(
