Jesus said no such thing. He said not a jot or tittle of the Law (Leviticus etc) would be removed until all had come to pass. Christians are in fact Jews plus the Messiah, and should in theory follow all the Jewish precepts and rites.

i think the old testament is there for the prophecies that christians believe Jesus fullfilled. The new testament is more important for christians.
