The Labour vote might not have gone that much but in their heartland seats their vote crumpled. Make no mistake, Labour's vote went down by 1% in the FPTP and 3% in the list vote. All it shows is that Labour can only appeal to its core vote and has nothing to offer people who have hope and aspirations. The seats Labour held onto are the pits and poorest in Scotland. Good luck to those people who stay in them.
