have you ever learnt the rules of rugby?

it states an i qoute "the tackler/defender must make an attempt to wrap the arms around the ball carrier when bringing him down. failure to do so may result in a penalty or in more severe cases a card. This is sometimes known as a shoulder barge, where no arms are used and just a leading shoulder.

there's nothing illegal about that! You can even crouch down before someone when he sprints and make him fall and still it's legal. You can make any tackle with your hands as long as the victim is going towards the ground.
