@yamsuka You were right except for the manual plucking. They have triggers built into their suit and hat, when they set off the trigger it yanks the mask into the hat lightning fast.

I might be wrong but i think i read that the masks are very thin silk, layered on top of each other... But still the skill to pluck em off that fast is incredible. Anyone know if this is a new or old tradition?
