Dave Kellett's 2010 OSU Lecture; "The Freeing of the Comics" Given at the Festival of Cartoon Art, hosted by the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum, on October 15th, 2010. The talk was given as a response to Bill Watterson's 1989 talk at the same forum, entitled, "The Cheapening of the Comics."

thanks, dave! great lecture - and yes, passion IS key, that's why I read your comic every day first thing in the morning and i do horribly suffer if i don't have internet access during holidays in foreign countries :-)

Thanks for sharing the lecture. Dave had some wonderful things to share. Even after reading HTMW and listening to all his podcasts, I still found a few new things from these videos.
