For a sec there, i thought Johnny Depp was really in the ride.....thats crazy! i went on the ride in 2003, so this wasnt part of it yet....

@Courtneyissorandom - Yes that is correct, the update was completed and the attraction re-opened in early July 2006 to coincide with the release of the second "Pirates" film "Dead Man's Chest". I shot this video during the opening weekend.

@KawaiiLukiie - Yes, the first movie is based on the attraction. In fact all of the movies are based on the attraction. You can find nods to the attraction sprinkled throughout all four of the "Pirates" films.

@lauzzababex - Happy you loved the attraction, but I think "soaked" would be a vast overstatement. I've only ever gotten a few drops of water splashed on me at the most, and I've been on this attraction countless times;-)

i wentin 2001 the last time.so i havent been since this was changed to include jack sparrow.i want to see the davey jones hologram thingy that looks really neat as i played Davey Jones in a halloween event one year and i looke dexactly like he did from the films.

omg i was like 8 when i went on this Johnny Deps thing came up i scream omg sexy thang is on the ride! :/ lol it was embarrassing but he looked real on my vision but i realized he wasnt after i stopped waving screaming Johnny Johnny over here! i love you lol
