I am currently in limbo with health insurance and won't have it back for a few months, but I really need to get this done. Any place I can get this done not in my doctors office?

@ProjektPete You should have gone to Japan ( see YT clips here ) and have the wax digged out of your ear.

I got swimmer's ear after my general practitioner irrigated my ear with water. The procedure hurt and I just had a feeling this would only make things worse. Now I just go directly to an ENT. Don't let your doctor talk you into this treatment. Doctors aren't Gods; they also face a learning curve.
