What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. *It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God's mercy*."

@Bearkiller Romans 8:7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God(an unsaved man), for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.So when the gospel calls us to repent and believe only those who God has converted(made born Again) can come.John 6:44 No one can come to me(believe)unless the Father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up on the last day.It's like drawing water from a well,one must break all of gravity's Resistance to raise it up.!00% drawn are 100% saved.

@Bearkiller I Cor 2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.This is just one verse but it explains to us that if a man has not been indwelt by God's spirit first,he is like and unborn baby,as the baby is only able to cry after his birth,and man is only able to cry out to God after being born again.God causes this new birth through hearing His gospel,grace by faith.

@Bearkiller777 James White read a quote from Roger's book where Roger said he was asked by a student"If It could be shown to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Calvinist God was actually God,would you worship Him"Roger said "No,I would not".This seems to be the problem with many Arminians,they hate God and will only accept their"idea of a god they like better",one that they have created.Praise God not all Arminians are like that,since most Calvinists started as misinformed Arminians.

I don't think "Calvinism" should be equated with "everything Calvin ever taught."
