@kamerbey ,,merhaba kardas,, may you and your family be in good health and prosperous with happines 4 ever,, but i wont entirely agree with your views of 400 years of co-existence in peace ,,we were no more than slaves to the ottomans back then,, we were stripped from most of our rights and treated very inhumane, resulting into uprising by yunan hence the troubles 4 the last 150 years of political and military conflict..to this day the remaining yunan in turkiye in islands etc etc suffer.

even when the greeks lived there, there were at least also 10 other nationalities living also. and the turks came there long before problems started between turks and greek. the only thing is that the greeks can't remember the 400 years living together in peace and even marrying to eachother. they only remember the last 150 years of problems, partially due to greek nationalist propaganda and european claims to divide the ottoman empire resulting in nationalist vieuws on greek past!
