Guitar Strum Help - 7 strumming patterns (Matt McCoy)

The #1 question I get asked (that I also used to ask) is, "What's the strumming pattern?"

Here I have went through 7 strumming options that are easy to do that you can apply to songs you hear or write.

1. Slow Strum
2. Muted Strings (for faster songs)
3. Emphasize the first chord
4. Slap chord. (has a drum sound) great for faster songs or switching up a song)
5. Pick the individuals strings for each chord
6. Bass strum
7. Hammering on notes during the chords

This was a fantastic video! I am always getting stuck on the same strumming pattern and this really helped me. I knew most of them, but a lot of times I don't think to use them so it was still very helpful. I love your guitar, I think taylors are neck and neck with martins.
