Simmons Electronic Drum Set for Sale...Read Description for Details.

I am trying to sell a slightly used Simmons SD7K electronic drum set. I bought it last year new at guitar center because i thought it would be cool to have one. although i love this set, my band desperately needs money for studio time to make a demo so i figured i'd sell these drums. The set comes with 3 tom pads, 1 snare pad, 1 bass pad, 3 cymbal pads, a hi hat pedal, the SD7K module and all of the wires and cables needed to make this machine work. However drum sticks, a drum throne, a bass pedal, headphones nor an amp are included in this deal. I bought this set at guitar center last year for $600 and only for the set (the sticks, throne, headphones and amp were not included in the original package). @netsabre01 LOL agreed. i can't believe guitar center still sells these. all the reviews on youtube i've seen are people who are probably new to drumming, at least new to electronic drums, and they seem to love the simmons. i played on one at guitar center for about 1 minute and noticed a dozen problems, the crappy SOUNDS being the biggest problem! people would be much better off to save for a roland, even an outdated yamahaDTX. have u seen the new Pearl E-Drums? wow, way over-priced, but wow.

simmons is just an expensive toy without any other use than make you waste your money , look for roland or yamaha

Hey this is a fairly cheap drumset at Guitarcenter. I was wondering I want to get my 12 year old brother a drum set. Would you say that sound quality is pretty good? Could he learn it well, and then move on to something bigger and better someday?
