And it's all nonsense! France Gall had a long carreer, no marriage or war to stop her fun. Indeed, several of the "baby pops" are still at it, forty years later, they may be old bags by now, but I haven't heard anyone complaining - Jane Birkin, Francoise Hardy, Brigittes Bardot and Fontaine. Cynicism, like any other ideology, philosopy or deep truth about life and everything, is daft nonsense.
