Part 3 Noon Lassies (trad) then into Watermans written by Michael McGoldrick.
Michael McGoldrick Dezi Donnelly Jonjo Kelly & Tim Edey at the Belfast Open House Festival 26th September 2009.
All these tunes can be heard on Michael McGoldricks brilliant album Fused, it's highly recommended.

Sorry I missed the end, the memory card in my phone ran out about 5 seconds before they finished to rapturous applause and a standing ovation!!!!

  • @JSCWhistler Well.he's great, but I've just examined other movies from this set & my verdict is:his fiddle is tuned semitone higher.Uff,what a relief - he is normal human being :)))

  • Although, if Dezi really is playing this tune in Fminor on a regular-tuned fiddle, than that's just an even greater testimony to how amazing he is!

  • @JSCWhistler Me too.Otherwise I'd had to bury the instrument :)

  • I would hope the latter!

  • Does the fiddler play it in Ab(Fm) or is the fiddle tuned 1/2 tone higher & he plays it in G(Em) ???

  • savage! thanks 4 posting!
