Bullshit psychiatry, scientist don't even know the mechanism behind SSRI effects on lessening of depressive symptoms. They don't know the biochemistry behind depression. There are theories yes, but only that theories. We don't know how consciousness is achieved entirely, neurosurgeons just poke and prod peoples brains and learn from trial and error. For all they know they are screwing up his motor sensory systems with this surgery or other vital processes.

EXACTLY, this is EXACTLY the panic/hysteria the Treatment Industry LOVES because it makes them MORE money, it's their lifeblood.........

Just stating something "you're wrong", whatever doesn't prove anything. GO FOR IT, IT"S YOUR TIME TO SHINE>......

FACT #1: There is NO scientific (i.e. reproducible, verifiable) evidence that there is an identifiable difference between non-addicts and addicts. (there is extensive evidence on the prevalence of addiction under poor economic and personal conditions).
Go ahead and produce that evidence, prove me wrong and become a winner!
-
sorry right back at you, friend. you're simply wrong. on just about every point you tried to make.
-
sorry friend, there's NEVER been any verifiable proof that there's something "different" about someone who gets "addicted"......it's an assumption based on the observation that some people can't seem to stop easily..........
-
there's some very well documented circumstances and lifestyles that help predict cocaine addiction. Contrary to the popular idea that it's the power of the drug, those in depressed areas, without work, without much stimulation in life.........or much going for them are FAR more likely to get addicted

Amen...........

Sure, I can buy that. Addicts often have other issues that may lead to their using, but an addict is an addict whether they've used zero times or hundreds of times. People are born as addicts. They're not born addicted, but once an addict, always an addict.

I know it exists, but in many cases i think persons 'addicted' to cocaine really have other problems, like chronic apathy
I think were are missing the point here friends, I feel the young mans message should not be lost and reduced to petty name calling amongst ourselves. But to have respect for him for allowing the scourge of coca to be exposed as the "snake of death" that it is for our youth worldwide, and to work to prevent or help the people from suffering from its grip.
