Basically, before the Beatles, (1964) the music business was mostly a closed industry. The recording companies had all the power. After the Beatles,(1970) artists had the freedom to do their own thing.

loved seeing the oldest pictures of the Quarrymen starting at .45... The Quarrymen before Paul joined them.. There is also a couple pics of the group riding on the back of a flat bed truck in a parade on route to the Fete where John met Paul. Historic photos..

You can call them whatever you want, but they will go down in history as the greatest band in history, by a wide margin.. As great as the Stones were, and they were great, the weren't really even in the Beatles class. Name a boy band that put out an album like Sgt. Pepper or Revolver. You can't do that, can you?

Yeah they werent really a boy band underneath or that much on the top either look at the cover for with the Beatles It was COOL and anyway the Stones wore matching waistcoasts at the start and sang ' i wanna be your man' I dont buy into that Boyband tag bullshit I feel They reinvented popular music Boy Band doesnt really fit
