Statement From Antonio Buehler:

On January 1st, 2012 sometime between 1:00 am
and 1:30 am, I was driving my friend home from
a New Years Eve party. I was the designated
driver and was sober. We pulled into the 7-11 on
Lamar & West 10th in Austin TX to get gas, and
we saw ourselves near a car that was pulled over
with two police cruisers behind it. A black woman
was being given a field sobriety test in the cold.
She seemed to be getting bossed around by the
cops, and we both took notice. They had her doing
the heel to toe test in high heels. In the passenger
seat was a young Hispanic lady who appeared to
be on her phone.
She was doing nothing aggressive.

As we finished pumping gas, a cop had gone over
to the passenger side door and opened it.
Soon after we heard a terrible scream and watched
in horror as the very built cop started yanking this
poor girl from the car. The other cop came up
and joined in on the abuse.

My friend and I stayed within two arms lengths of
the truck, and tried to take pictures and yelled at the
cops to stop assaulting the girl.

After that, one cop came up to me yelling at me and
asking why I was taking pictures. I said it was my
right in public, and he pushed me into the truck and
started yelling in my face. I asked him why he
pushed me, I put up my arms to show I wasn't a
threat, told him to get out of my face, and that I had
done nothing illegal. He then grabbed my arm, and
pinned me against the truck, at which time
he claimed I "spit" on him.

They arrested me, claimed it was for "interfering
with an investigation". By the time I got to their
truck, it was a DUI and they made me blow. It didn't
register, and by the time I got to jail it was then a
"felony harassment" and a "resisting arrest" charge.

The woman was arrested for "public intoxication".
The cops said that she was interfering with their DUI
investigation because she yelled to her friend not to
submit to any tests. Interestingly, neither of us was
charged with interfering in an investigation.

  • I haven't seen a smear campaign by the cops trying to discredit Buehler. I have, however, seen many videos by Buehler and his friends trying to smear the officers. I have seen where the officer's numbers have been given out with instructions to harass them at home. If you want to know why the police and their friends are jerking Buehler around, look no further than the fact that Buehler and his friends have given up the moral high ground of "concerned citizens." Just My Opinion.

  • @faxdaddy The police smear campaign is the fake charges and court system. They have smeared Antonio's good name. The outcry against the police is a result of THEIR smears. Who drew first blood?

  • @faxdaddy I don't recall Antonio locking the police up in a cage, and inventing charges against them. The charges Antonio has made against the Officers is valid however. Police brutality, and official oppression.

  • Oborski and Snider Were Cops

    Whose lies were obvious flops

    The dash cam revealed

    So it was concealed,

Now the charges will have to be dropped

  • In Buehler's photo the APD officer was coming to get Buehler, who was concerned for the safety of the female. Those police were clearly physically abusing a woman showing no sign of resisting as they forced her shoulder joints, an action which could potentially disable her for life.

Policemen receive training in safe takedowns. Both these officers, were clearly acting in accord and her safety safety & security.was compromised by the purposeful actions of the officers while in their custody.

  • @faxdaddy Hello???

  • @AynRandFanJG

There's a video on youtube showing Antonio having to be forceably arrested because he refused to comply with an officer who was attempting to arrest him. But I'll bet you already knew that.

  • @faxdaddy How did he intentionally prevent or obstruct? You don't know that law.

  • @faxdaddy Where is the resisting arrest?

  • (b) It is no defense to prosecution under this section that the arrest or search was unlawful.

In other words, even if you don't think you've done anythign wrong, you still must comply with an arrest. That's how the system works.

  • Straight from the Texas penal code.

    Sec. 38.03. Resisting Arrest,

    (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally prevents or obstructs a person he knows is a peace officer or a person acting in a peace officer's presence and at his direction from effecting an arrest, search, or transportation of the actor or another by using force against the peace officer or another.

    (b) It is no defense to prosecution under this section that the arrest or search was unlawful.

  • @AynRandFanJG

Except that I'm not a cop. Nor am I "shitty." :-)

  • @faxdaddy You are a shitty cop. You don't know what resisting arrest means.

  • @faxdaddy You haven't ever looked up the definition of resisting arrest, have you?
