  • @jcx34 i dissagree

  • @elfhermie I have always been a Dr Who fan, since a kid growing up with in my opoion the best Doctor, Tom Baker. I do like the orignal series, except probably the worst, annoying and loudest (screaming) companions the Doctor ever had, Bonnie Longford. I didn't like the American Doctor Movie and was unsure ab97t this new series. I will agree about this romanatic cack but David Tennant's Doctor is the best one so far. It's a pity about Elisabeth Sladen death.

  • weee r called cyyberrmenn.Cybermen? yeees cybermenn.Enter terryfying invaders of the universe.Tom Baker was right when he said they were 'a bunch of tin soldiers skulking about the galaxy. They are, in a way, like the daleks;cold hearted killers

  • @PatchesRips I got somthing awful like that.cybermen,terror reigns,they do whatever cyborgs do.nice comment

  • @Metaliant01 You are in for a great adventure in watching the old Doctor! The classic series is COMPLETELY different than the new series which just utilizes its name, characters, and overall concept. The old series is much more like watching the best Hammer Horror, cliffhanger serials, suspense mysteries, and sci-fi that was based on imagination and "what if" instead of just making nonsense up or sticking to reality. There's also none of that "romance" junk. Hartnell through Davison rocked!

  • @MrNextbigthing87 Agreed. He was fantastic!

  • @mscoolgirl798 Anybody else think the newest Cybermen were patterned off of the newer Cylons? They remind me of them to great degree. The Earthshock Cybrmen reminded me of Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers. These early Cybermen were patterned after The Mummy I believe albeit with musical organs on their chests. Still, these earliest ones were perhaps the most unique and scary of them all. They really do seem not to give one hoot about anybody else's predicament. Very scary indeed.

  • @Drwhofan1971 You said it! Back in the day, the Doctor seemed in much more peril than later on. He was an old man with a teenage granddaughter and female school teacher for companions. All three of them were susceptible to the old twisted ankle and other perils associated with running from beings physically superior to them and outnumbering them. Sometimes the tough Ian could help out, but even he was human and his aggressiveness could get him into extra trouble from ticked off baddies.

  • @m06een00 If you read my post again, you'll clearly see that I said the later incarnations of the Cybermen were updated to reflect the success of Star Wars and it Empirical villains. The Earthshock ones were my personal favorites, but their leader had a total James Earl Jones like voice and even their march song was akin to the Imperial March. These Tenth Planet Cybermen were maybe patterned off of The Mummy with the wrappings, but everything else about them was unique and supremely eerie.

  • @benlu123 Yeah, he was great! He gave them menace and roboticness all in one!
