@nunvikingsofthesea Kinda. There is a water technique that I never learned properly during my visit. I don't believe you actually touch feces. Since I wasn't co-ordinated enough, I used toilet paper.

@sarzaya I am going to india for a company trip. Do they provide toilet paper or do you have to bring your own.....

@nunvikingsofthesea I suggest you try the water technique, but definitely bring your own paper. Be aware that there is often no place in the bathroom to dispose of paper, since some toilets can't handle it. I used a ziplock bag at times. Since it's a company trip, you may be in places that cater to foreigners and this won't be an issue. Even if you are left handed, use your right hand for all eating and handshaking. Every meal begins with a hand cleaning bowl of water.

im sorry but ur gonna have to pass me a folk spoon and knife. if u have chposticks ill take those but i wud not eat with my hands. if its disrespect then ill bring my food to my room. check please
