  • I think I like this version better than the others... Probably because of Ralph fiennes.

  • I know this is rather random but Ralph Fiennes has such a sexy nose ;)

  • Good Lord. Ralph Fiennes trying to be 13 (he was 30 at this time) in this movie is worse than Malcolm McDowell trying to be 14 (28 at the time) in A Clockwork Orange.

Directors- IT JUST DOESN'T WORK. No matter how incredibly sexy Mr. Fiennes is in this movie....

  • Gosh couldn't they find anyone else to play Edgar?!

  • uhhh... edgar is fugly. no -__-

  • she's just a terrible cathy

  • Edgar is foppish.

As much as I love this version, my heart belongs to the 1939 Merle Oberon-Laurence Olivier version (although it had little resemblance to the novel).

  • @YouWillBeMyRoots yeah I think they were about 13.

This thing is all messed up :s

  • Weren't Heathcliffe and Cathy MUCH younger when they stumbled upon The Grange? And this version doesn't do much to show how close they were as children. He just looks like some stagehand she randomly gained interest in when she hit puberty.

  • @TheJelly1995 I most definitely agree. Not a nice guy at all. But he did love Catherine, I'll give him that.

  • I seeeeee the spirit of gothic Kubrick in everywhere BUUUU.
