@grenierjp amen to that, I sung this song (I'm French and speak it fluently, so I know how the words should be said), but the language instructor coaching me said "Oh, no, we want to sing it in Italian sounds"

Pour sebastien1chartry arrête de jouer son jeu tu t'abaisses à son niveau.
Cette musique est tout bonnement superbe, mais il faut savoir l'apprécier.

bat90400 - you may prefer it in Italian, but the original score was in French... I like this performance: the baritone not only brings the perfect emotion to the song, but I can also hear him pronouncing - which cannot be said of many opera singers who think that over-titles are enough....
