i've got questions to you guys - is it an electrical torpedo? i expected larger trace of bubbles behind it. And is it the Mediterranean Sea so clear and this day so quiet or subs are always so visible when in periscope depth?
Hello, For these type of torpedo firing, the "target" is prepared in advance, all their bulkheads are secured, their tanks emptied, etc. This is for being able to use the target as practice with different types of weapons avoiding the inmediate sinking. In this case, the torpedo had a very shallow run, so I think it was fired to the ship´s side, the perfect results happen when the torp exploded directly below the ship, which effectively "breaks her back".Cheers,
