Ebay Tip: How To Spot A Shill Bidder + Sub to bowhunter22464!

Watch this video and Ihope you find it helpful. It really pisses me off to see people lying, cheating, etc and shill bidding is illegal. Easy way to spot a shill bidder. Look at the bid history of the person who has "jacked" the bid up and see what percentage of their recent bids in the past 30 days have been with the seller you are bidding with. If it's a high %...good chance it's a shill bidder!

I had 56 feedback 100% positive. Now up until a week ago, some fag decided he didn't want the knife that he bid on because it wasn't pretty enough, even though it was exactly as described. So he wants a refund AND to keep the knife. I said "fuck no". So he gave me feedback. And that 1 out of 56 brought me down to 98.1, which is total fucking bullshit. You can't really judge someone with a 98.6 my friend... Ebay is just a bitch.

People will understand when they see that one "out of the ordinary" transaction and still be willing to deal with you. I agree that Ebay sucks.....sellers have NO recourse anymore. Total bullshit.

what if the shill bidder bids on random items from other sellers so that his/her account activity with that seller isnt 100%?

@Keith1212ofxbox360 That is not shill bidding and you can't force someone to make prompt payment after your auction ends. Everyone is allowed a reasonable amount of time within which to pay.

I've seen a shill bidder with 1% on the same person. The bidder has over 1000 bids and when I looked there are groups of bids on different bidders. Quite an active person.

Just found a shill bidder this weekend.  Bidder has 97% of bids with one seller, a rating of 0.... the seller does auctions with a reserve amount and this bidder ALWAYS bids constantly to drive the price up to, but not OVER, the reserve amount. I reported it to eBay, now let's see what happens.

oh and I bid on an item for 100 max bid and I was about to win in the last 15 min wiht 30 dollars and then all of a sudden it jumped to 86...
