Perhaps this is just a communication breakdown. Maybe somewhere along the line, Muslims became convinced that the word "peaceful" actually means "murderous." If that's the case, then yes, Islam IS the most "peaceful" religion on earth.

My heart goes out to all the people who have been prosecuted because of their faith/religion. I hope we as humans come to recognize that God is present in each one of us and that we should respect and love each other. This is disheartening. My prayers go to the strengthening of the Coptic Orthodox Church and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church that has gone through the same problems. They might destroy the building but they shall never destroy the faith that forever leaves in our hearts.

When those who came to arrest Jesus took hold of him, and one of his disciples cut off the ear of one of the High Priest's servants. Even though they came to arrest Jesus and turn Him over to the death sentence the Pharisees had in store, Jesus healed the servants ear (Luke 22:51).Many times did the people try to kill Jesus (from His birth, His ministry, etc.)But Jesus Christ forgave them despite the violence.We must love our enemies so that one day they will see our love and join us in Christ.
