@MoshtHrasta Hi there, i am from Bulgaria and i know exactly for what you are talking about -.- but i think that this song has deeper meaning which is by no means connected with their deeds. I think gypsy here means one who wanders, who is on a pilgrimage.

i am trying but i just can't like this song.
only people that have never seen a real gypsy and brainwashed democrats like gypsies.
if you lived with them like we in Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania do. You would hate them also. believe me!

Just heard this for the first time, immediately after listening to the Carnegie Hall version of Ocean Gypsy by Renaissance. Ms. Night is no Annie Haslam, but then she's not trying to be and I think that is why this song works so well. It's a very good cover and stands on its own merits. I think I'm probably going to become a Blackmore's Night fan.
