That has nothing to do with it. The cushion doean't absorb the energy from the hammer hitting the gun.  If it is how you say, I could go outside and smash my head with a crowbar, but as long as I have a pillow under my ass I'm okay.

@TeamSpecOpsAirsoft jump off a building and hit your face on concrete, then jump off and land on a bed or couch and tell me it hurt just as much as the concrete. if you hit a guitar with a hammer you are putting a focused force into a hollow instrument made out of thin wood that SPLINTERS. it does not bend/barley bends at all before it breaks.
