Let´s Play Ball!

I dont know what is the big deal about this: Yes AROD juiced himself up, yes the Big Mac too and Barry Bonds is in the bag and 100 others did the same. All those names are GREAT athletes and their accomplishments under any circunstances should not be messed up because of it. I mean, come on, everybody was into it and most of them have proven that they were great players with and without any substances in their bodies. Punishing them for something they did 6 years ago? Come on! What´s your beef? That they lied under oath? Clinton did the same and he is right now enjoying a fine cigar. Let´s be realistic here, Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and a bunch of other big names from the past are only lucky that they were able to do whatever they wanted back then because there was NO CONTROL over them. Did they ever get tested? Was there a way to find out if they were taking something? If it is up to me, why dont we put an asterisk on every record there is untill they run a blood test on everyone that is in the Hall of Fame or is a record holder. Stop punishing Big Mac, Bonds, Arod,etc., they have done a lot for baseball, the only difference between them and those "inmortals" now is that in this ERA they are tested in ways that Babe Ruth wouldnt even dream of. Baseball does not need this kind of attention. Even Barack Obama was talking about how "depressing" the news of AROD was, well Mr. President, let me tell you something, it was a very depressing news to me that you spent so many years getting high at somebody´s basement. What everybody should be doing right now is just stopping players from taking illegal sustances NOW instead of making a circus with results of 5 or 6 years ago. Now, can we play some freakin´ ball !?!?!?!?!
