KFC Prank Call to El Pollo Loco

El Pollo Loco threw down the chicken war gauntlet more than a week ago challenging KFC to the Taste the Fire® taste test with a hotline to set up showdown at 1-877-EPL-STEVE. THESE ARE BOTH REAL CALLS.

I DO agree that KFC's grilled chicken sucks & I AM a fan of El Pollo, but this video's kinda dumb. My phone number contains the same area code from when I lived in Washington, but I live in California. People from all over the country move to CA. Even people from Kentucky. This comment's probably gona get a bunch of negative responses, but I'm just gona throw that out there... i still love you though, el pollo loco.

We actually called the number back a few days later. It was the number to Yum! Brands corporate headquarters!

Yes! When they called us, they didn't block their phone number and we were able to call it back from our caller ID! It was fantasticly funny!

You know whats funny, they opened up a KFC restaruant like a block away from pollo loco, and a year later, Kfc was closed down, probably because of competition and YES!!! i love pollo loco!!!

I didn't know you guys were already in USA! I guess I was living in a hole or something. It's fantastic, the people from USA can taste the flavor of your chicken, here in Mexico it's pretty popular and the quality it's really high.
