Making a big dam out of sand at the beach.

Tips: don't use rocks or sticks. Use a shirt as a sand carrying device.

I don't remember offhand, but I think the location is the beach just north of Cape Lookout, on the Oregon Coast

  • The only streams i ever dammed up were tidewater streams at aliso beach, ca. Where do you find those unpolluted streams? (definitely NOT in southern CA right?)

  • sand dams dont work well i use pineneedles mixed with mud and grass clippings in the fonrt and a the very back i have big rocks with big stick holding them up and a cloged the creeck up completly
