Question I just moved to a new area any pointers in finding like minded people who have or are willing to join together to create retreat or community defense

why not put 2 positions in behind the one and have a small barracks with guns equipped with night optics and extra ammo and maybe 2 to 4 troops that r ammo carriers and one hi round gun to cover the others incase of retreat or covering fire

Great job if you can find any the intrusion detecting set AN/PSR-1A is a great thing to have they use seismometer to detect footsteps and vehicles

Don't forget ducks and geese they can be trained to scream bloody murder if people get close! the one electronic devise other then TX\RX system is NVG. I try to avoid to many high tech items, but this is one case I spent money on. if just one DA washed his clothes in detergent. which is full of brighteners they will glow like a light bulb at night! defeating thermal is a little harder but it can be done if you know a few tricks to over come it's operating spectrums. best to never be found!

It might be a good idea to build your defense in the good times. Hiring a small backhoe is cheap right now. I would suggest disguising it as landscaping and drainage. When I was a teenager I worked in landscaping a little. We did amazing things with the natural materials that were local to the site or nearby and free.
Also, the right plants can even stop a truck or hinder movement of persons. Of course they take a few years to grow up so plant them ASAP.

Excellent videos! Thanks. I'm ex mil, but these make it easier to teach others what to do, and to remind myself. I have great respect for people that take the time to freely give out very valuable knowledge. Thanks again. You are saving many lives!
Thanks for the good advise I will do this ....thanks
