Wow! this guy who did Rodger is really really good. He should definatly audition for the broadway show or the tour.. they'll coach him and make him so much better... The MiMi definatly could've gave more to the character.. i was definatly a little disappointed.. her voice was beautifull thought :)

A lot of her movements seem jerky. Her voice is okay at times.

Wow. There's a lot of ragging on Mimi in this video. Some people should remember that this is a HIGH SCHOOL play, and that this song AND choreography is one of the more difficult ones to do. It's easy to sit back and say "this one's not good enough for my standards", but I'd bet that most of those comments were written by people who couldn't do any better themselves. I think she did just fine.

I kind of see why high schools protraying RENT caused such controversy but the actress could have done so much more with her performance. She just wasn't in it. She was just "playing" Mimi, when she needed to BE her. Everyone else was fine though, minus the random skipped verses. But again, the girl just didn't do Mimi justice.
