  • Yeah, uh... The guy singing this "cover" is actually the same guy who originally wrote the song in the first place - Steve Marriott. He left Small Faces in 1968 or 1969 to join Humble Pie, where he was changed by growing a large ego. Nonetheless, he was still amazing as an artist up until '91 when he died in a house fire. R.I.P, Steve

  • God Bless Steve Marriott. A great singer and musician!

  • Not much i like about Humble Pie, I LOVE Small Faces with a passion. I collected all of their songs. Such a sad story for Steve. R.I.P. I hope u play to God everyday.

  • Steve Marriott had one of the greatest rock & roll voices I ever heard...

  • @ChrisXRachel Thanks ChrisX. You followed his career also. I LOVE anything Marriott! I was VERY fortunate to see Humble Pie in the 70s. What a GREAT Band!

  • ah,Steve wanted peter frampton in small faces, they said no, so he quit and started humble pie with frampton

  • Best 'Small Faces' song ever.

  • Steve Marriott most certainly did not have a big ego. In fact, if his self-worth had been anywhere near what it should have been, he might have not had all of the problems he encountered in life and be with us still.

  • @ChrisXRachel ... because smoking really is bad for your health ;-)

  • @gropingwithastoker Streetheart did a killer cover of this great song.

  • @Glorify27 i can remember seeing steve marriot afew times at the royal standard walthamstow shortly before his death and after sharing afew drinks with him at the bar i have never come across any musician with less of an ego.he treated the fans like mates and rocked that place.

  • @angryallotmentlover Not Frampton on guitar if this was recorded in 1980...
