In 2005 loveLife (South Africa's largest HIV/AIDS prevention campaign) launched their "Get Attitude" Campaign. The campaign aims to get young people to think for themselves when it comes to sexual behavior and overall lifestyle. The statistics of HIV infection rates in South Africa can often be intimidating. Yet, 95% of 15-16 year old are HIV free. In order to remain sexually healthy young people are going to need attitude - a lot of it.
Founded in 1999, loveLife is a lifestyle campaign that intents to reduce the prevalence of HIV and AIDS among young people through: mass media, loveLife branded community centers, youth-friendly health clinics and programs for youth in urban and rural areas.
