I can't believe this is still getting comments. This video was made because UW fans were upset that Collie didn't get flagged for this. The video clearly shows that Collie should NOT have been flagged, which is why "spikes" is in air quotes in the title. Maybe I could have been more clear.

this video is a joke right? nobody seriously thinks he spiked the ball there do they? go watch a QB spike the ball to stop the clock. If someone did what is shown in this video in an attempt to stop the clock, it would be ruled a fumble.

yes, it is a joke. lots of UW fans brought up this clip to complain that BYU got away with one while Locker's penalty was unfair. It will be a great game in Provo next year!

For all you morons that didn't catch the sarcasm in the video, it's clear that Collie didn't spike the ball. This video was made in response to some fan message board comments crying about Collie and how he seemed to "spike" the ball in the endzone.
